Ingredients

  • 3-4 ruby red grapefruits organic if possible
  • 1 tsp honey or agave optional, for sweetness
  • A pinch of salt optional
  • Water optional, for dilution
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  • Prepare the Grapefruits: Wash the grapefruits thoroughly. Roll them on a counter while pressing down firmly to release more juice.
  • Juicing Process: Cut each grapefruit in half. Use a juicer to extract the juice, or squeeze manually using a fork to twist and press.
  • Strain the Juice: Pour the juice through a strainer to remove seeds and pulp.
  • Adjust Flavor: Taste the juice and add honey if needed. A pinch of salt enhances the flavor.
  • Chill & Serve: Refrigerate for 30 minutes for best taste. Serve over ice and enjoy!

Notes

Fresh juice is best consumed immediately but can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Add orange juice for extra sweetness or mix with sparkling water for a refreshing twist.
Grapefruit juice may interact with certain medications; consult a doctor if unsure.
